2010 Golden Raspberry Awards Archives

Sandra Bullock Will Return Razzie

Talk about bad timing: Scandal-snipped star Sandra Bullock has agreed to return her Golden Raspberry award after accidentally collecting the original “priceless” trophy instead of a cheap replica intended for her during last month’s ceremony.

The 45-year-old Oscar winner was awarded the Worst Actress Razzie for her role in the 2009 comedic stinker All About Steve, but last week Razzie co-founder John Wilson issued a statement claiming Sandra was handed the original trophy, which is worth thousands of dollars.

After some investigative work by her reps, The Blind Side actress has agreed to the Razzie trophy to its rightful owners.

“We were never contacted by them to return the Razzie. I contacted them yesterday to check the validity of the story and was only told then that we had been given the wrong award. We will be returning the Razzie to them shortly,” her publicist Cheryl Maisel tells E! News.

2010 Razzie Award Winners

And the Razzie goes to…..How awesome to see Oscar-nominated actress Sandra Bullock pick up her two Razzies for Worst Actress and Worst Screen Couple at this weekend’s annual Golden Raspberry Awards!

Last night, The Blind Side star picked up two Razzie Awards for her 2009 stinker movie All About Steve. Sandra — a good sport until the end — even attended the event and brought along a wagon filled with All About Steve DVDs for the audience! Throughout the awards season, Bullock said many times in interviews: “if you don’t show up for something like the Razzies then you’re a little hypocritical. You can’t just show up for the good stuff.”

“I thought no one went to see this film, but I know that there are more than 700 members here. I brought the shooting script. I’m willing to go through page by page, read the line the way I did it in the film and, if anyone wants to give me a line read of how I could’ve done it better … We can do this till about 4 o’clock in the morning. Or you guys can just watch the movie and rethink your decision, and I’ll show up next year and we can go out for a drink afterward.”

If Bullock wins an Oscar tonight, she’ll be the first actress to win a Razzie and an Oscar in the same weekend.

Here’s the rest of this year’s Razzie losers:

Check out the full list of Hollywood stinkers that are on course to be crowned the most craptacular of 2009!

Sandra Bullock earned a worst-actress nomination for All About Steve. Ironically, she’s expected to score an Academy Award nomination for her hit drama The Blind Side when Anne Hathaway announces the nominees for this year’s Oscars tomorrow morning.

“She could be the first person ever to win a Razzie and an Oscar in the same weekend,” said John Wilson, founder of the Golden Raspberry Awards, now in their 30th year.

Razzie voters also are making worst-of-the-decade picks. The worst-picture nominees are Travolta’s “Battlefield Earth,” Tom Green’s “Freddy Got Fingered,” Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s “Gigli,” Lindsay Lohan’s “I Know Who Killed Me” and Madonna’s “Swept Away.”
