Ali Fedotowsky Archives

It looks like Ali Fedotowsky’s days on the small screen may not be done just yet. The Bachelorette star — who accepted an engagement ring from minor league baseball ace Roberto Martinez on Monday’s season finale — may be joining the cast of the upcoming 11th season of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.

On Tuesday, Life & Style Weekly revealed that Ali has signed on with the William Morris Endeavor Talent Agency and is looking at several different projects – one of them being the hit dance competition. The agency has also worked a number of celebrity A-listers, including Alicia Keys, Courteney Cox, and Jennifer Lopez.

If Ali lands a role on DWTS, she won’t be the first star from the Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise to do so. Bachelor alums Melissa Rycroft and Jake Pavelka have also competed on the show.

In addition, we hear Oksana Grigorieva and former NFL ace Troy Aikman are among the other possible contenders set to show off their fancy footwork on Dancing next season.

Ali Fedotowsky — the perky blonde star of The Bachelorette — gave her final rose in Bora Bora, Tahiti, to Roberto Martinez, a 26-year-old insurance agent (and former minor league baseball player), and got an engagement ring in return on last night’s season finale of The Bacherlorette.

“First off, I want you to know, you’re the only guy here today,” Ali told Roberto after sending Chris Lambert back home to Massachusetts. “I love you so much. I really do.”

“I love you, I want to grow old with you, I want to have a beautiful, beautiful family [with you], I want to share my life with you. Share your life with me. Be my wife,” Roberto replied as he got down on one knee. “Ali, Fedotowsky – will you marry me?”

Ali gleefully accepted, leaping into Roberto’s arms.

A second scandal threatens to rock ABC’s Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise, hot on the heels of the highly-publicized split of The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love sweethearts Vienna Girardi and Jake Pavelka.

We hear a disgruntled former flame is shopping blushworthy snaps of Bachelorette cutie Ali Fedotowsky in the buff. The alleged pictures, which have been quietly making the rounds in Hollywood for weeks, were reportedly taken several years ago, when the 25-year-old Massachusetts native stripped on webcam for “an old fling” she met while living in San Francisco.

In news that’s sure to send producers of the ABC reality series scrambling, various supermarket tabs are expressing interest in purchasing the photos for publication.

“A ZackTaylor.ca source says the unknown guy has been trying to shop around photos of Ali ever since she first appeared on The Bachelor, but only now are the tabloids interested in his extremely high photo rates.”

On Monday’s Kimmel Live, Ali Fedotowsky, who has been revealed as the star of the new season of The Bachelorette, chatted with ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel about choosing career over love with pilot Jake Pavelka on the last season of The Bachelor. and the next installment of The Bachelorette — which premieres May 24.

Ali Is “The Bachelorette”

ABC has revealed the next lady who will be looking for love as The Bachelorette: Ali Fedotowsky was confirmed as the new Bachelorette during The Bachelor: After The Final Rose on Monday night.

As fans may recall, Ali — a frontrunner in the pursuit of Bachelor Jake Pavelka — had to leave the show in order to keep her job. Ali faced a tough decision on the show: stay in The Bachelor House and compete for Jake’s heart and risk losing her job, or leave and lose a man she’d fallen in love with. She chose her career.

“I’m so excited. I’m so thrilled and honored and grateful. I just can’t believe it,” Ali — who’s blonde looks often earn her comparisons to a young Belinda Carlisle — told host Chris Harrison on last night After The Rose Special. “I’m not gonna let my fear dictate my life anymore. And I just need to go for it and I want to find someone,” she continued. “I want to be in love. I want to get married and have kids and all of that and this is my chance, so I’m not gonna make the same mistake I made last time, I’m going for it.”

The show returns May 24.
